The Coastal Plain League season, a summer collegiate league, will feature close to 30 home games for the Petersburg Generals, as they celebrate their 10th year in the CPL. The league is celebrating its 13th year of existence. Also, this summer, the city of Petersburg welcomes American Legion ball back after a 25 year absence. All of the Petersburg Generals home games and all home games for the Petersburg Post 2 American Legion team will be played at the Petersburg Sports Complex through the first week in August.
